New Wallpaper
Vivienne Westwood + Cole & child = maybe the freshest wallpaper I’ve seen in a year.
I was thinking I had seen it all when it concerned wallpaper (damask print anyone? ? still very lovely, but yawn), and then along came this new collection: a bit punk, a bit Brit, but mostly just plain cool.
In particular, I love Westwood’s renowned Squiggle print, inspired by her Autumn-Winter 1981/1982 Pirate collection. Can’t decide which colourway I like best ? but the blue/green is pretty smart.
The Tartan paper is another of my favourites ? maybe it’s the fall weather ? and fashion philes will love that Westwood has printed this tartan on the bias to give it a new look.
Vivienne’s lace was penned by Westwood herself and she has incorporated her signature in this hand-drawn rendering of lace.
Cole & child is available at Kravet in Toronto.
