Practical Paperclips

I admire people who are highly organized. but hard as I try, my work surface, inbox and desk drawer are not always orderly. Admittedly, when I’m working on a story, I manage to cover every available surface. (H&H insider fact: there is even an extra table outside of my office to help catch the spillover.) These oversized paperclips are my latest ruse for taming my desk. available at your local Staples, ($2.59 for a pack of 10!), they keep substantial piles of photocopies, fabric, paint chips and proposals neatly together. and unlike your desk drawer’s usual suspects, these fasteners’ scale and brassy finish are just plain cool, don’t you think?
