Mix-And-Match bedding
I love making up a bed, because bedding can totally transform the look of a bedroom. I typically find myself picking up bedding on vacation since it’s easy to carry (especially pillow shams and cases!). Personally, I’m a fan of mixing different patterns, colours and textures together — don’t be afraid of mixing styles on one bed!
This bed is more coordinated, but I love the mix of patterns.
I think this is a terrific combination of mix-and-match bedding. A simple brown and white bedskirt, pillow cases, Euro shams and a large graphic print duvet cover.
For this photo shoot, I used a DwellStudio duvet cover and shams, chunky knit Euro shams from Pottery Barn, and a simple blue and white rectangular lumbar pillow.
This is the guest room in my own home, and I went for a mix of different pieces of bedding: muted orange Euro shams from area Home, pale blue-green pillow cases trimmed in white, simple white sheets and a vintage wool blanket. I love using Euro shams, especially in front of the sleeping pillows, they always add a nice amount of height to the bed.
