Z-Wave modules in the UK

With discussions about Z-Wave on both the mailing listing as well as forums once again just recently I contacted ZenSys for a comment…

“Hello Mark, The present circumstance is that a number of OEMs are thinking about a UK introduce for the end of this year however none has taken a final decision. ideally in August I should be able to tell you who is coming first!

The reason for Z-Wave based products being sluggish to the UK is because of the extremely specific demands for AC powered gadgets in UK which needs special tooling as well as some adjustments to the power supply.

Our clients are so far providing concern to introduces in mainland Europe. There is a fantastic chance for a UK based manufacturer to go into this market however none so far taken the initiative.
