Top patterns

In my home, I like to integrate pattern pieces to produce my own eclectic look. however before I invest in something new, I comply with these rules.

Look for long-lasting love

Before you dedicate to a new look, ask yourself, “Am I still going to like this 10 years from now?” A style smart good friend of mine told me this when as well as I online by these words for each purchase.

Channel your inner stylista

If you don’t trust your own taste, select a person whose style you admire as well as ask yourself; “Is this something that (insert tasteful person’s name) would put in their house?” If not, you may reconsider.

Stick to the classics

For big-ticket products like a new sofa or dining table, look for something with staying power — these aren’t the kind of things you want to modification up next year. Instead, introduce patterns with small, easy-to-flip accessories.

Stay focused

While you may like products from different styles, focus on one look. prevent blending disparate patterns together or you might produce confusion.

Beware the domino effect

If introducing a pattern is going to begin a major redecorating effort, it may not be worth it. Unless you’re up for the challenge, in which situation go for it!
